This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Launch Pad ("we", "us") collects through startbusiness.ae, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only, not to any separate service agreement you sign with us.

Information we collect
We collect only what you choose to give us:
- Contact form submissions - name, email address, phone number, the service you're enquiring about, and any message you write.
- WhatsApp and phone enquiries - if you message or call us directly, we hold that conversation the same way any business would.
- Email correspondence - if you email us, we retain that correspondence to respond and keep a record of the enquiry.
We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this website, and we do not run visitor-tracking scripts. The only third-party component embedded on this site is a Google Maps view on our contact page, which may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy when that map is visible to you - we don't control or receive that data.
How we use it
We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, assess and deliver the services you request, and meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to us as a UAE-licensed consultancy. We do not use your contact details for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Legal basis for processing
We process your data based on your consent when you submit an enquiry, the steps necessary to enter into or perform a service agreement with you, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and meeting regulatory obligations under UAE law.
How your enquiry reaches us
Submissions made through the contact form on this website are processed and delivered to us by FormSubmit, a third-party form-handling service, over an encrypted connection. FormSubmit acts as a data processor on our behalf and does not use your information for its own purposes.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade client data. Information is shared only where necessary to deliver a service you've engaged us for, or where legally required - for example with the Federal Tax Authority, the Department of Economic Development, a relevant free zone authority, or your bank, as part of an active engagement.
Data retention
We retain enquiry and client data for as long as needed to provide the requested service and to meet the statutory record-keeping periods that apply to licensed consultancies in the UAE, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent for us to contact you. To exercise any of these rights, email info@startbusiness.ae.
Children's privacy
This website and our services are directed at businesses and business owners. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
